Enjoyed this and Looking forward to your further recs bc I'm a major salad hater, eager to be reformed. They always bill themselves as "easy" and wind up involving 10x more prep than actual cooked recipes. If there's anyone who can convert me, it's you!
Love these tips! I completely agree on the nuts. Lots of seeds (I like a mix of toasted sesame, crushed toasted fennel, hemp and poppy seeds) for a slightly different vibe.
So many amazing ideas here! That halal cart salad is calling to me. And totally agree with Zoe about the herbs—I've been adding mint (chiffonaded) recently along with my usual parsley, chives, etc, and it makes me so happy every time.
This is so, so delightful! So many good insights. I am always here for a salad that mixes warm and cold things. At the very last minute, I'll toss in something air-fried (chickpeas, sweet potatoes, eggplant, peppers, etc) and douse it with cold red wine vinegar. Keeps it interesting!
Here for salad month!!!
Yessss i hope you love it!!!
As someone committed to eating more salad (saying that out loud for accountability!) this is exactly what I needed today!
You’ve got this!!!

Yum! And right?? Any time I add nuts things feel so much more complete.
Seems like a total 'duh' but I've never thought of using my maldon salt for salads -- only for cookies and brownies 😂
Ooooh your future salad-eating self is going to be SO glad
Panko-fried sardines? Fun! Love this list and the whole idea.
Right? Trust Zoë to bring the creativity. And yay for Salad Month!!!

I LOVE a minty salad! That first maroulosalata recipe (also on my MVP list) has a nice dose of mint!

YES love a salad with plenty of contrast. I'm also a huge fan of adding an airfried chickpea.
Team herbs!

I've been making Sue Li and Chris Morocco's Caesar salad for years - it's so perfect.

Also by Kenji Lopez Alt. I’ve made it with cherry/grape tomatoes, I’ve added beans to make it heartier for a main dish. It is SO good!
Oh I HAVE to try this!! I love that Kenji included instructions for us grill-less folks
Those Jacobsen tins have saved me on more than one occasion!
